Your personalized donor account is a secure, online service that The Blood Center offers to help you keep track of your donations, eligibility dates, and program points. It is also a way for you to access program benefits, such as shopping at the Online Rewards Store, wellness information and online appointment scheduling.

Watch our calendar for special days when your blood donation will earn you special bonus points. This is a way for The Blood Center of Central Texas to say thanks for helping save lives in our community.
Access to the Online Rewards Store
Access to Online Rewards Store is another great donor benefit. Each donation you make earns points which can be redeemed for items from the online store like shirts, backpacks, chairs, and much more.
Blood Assurance Program
The Blood Center of Central Texas presents each donor or group hosting a blood drive with a blood donation coupon for each successful blood donation. These coupons can be redeemed by patients for a limited financial reimbursement to help cover blood service fees. Payments go directly to the patients for un-reimbursed blood fee expenses rather than to the hospital or specialty treatment facility where the transfusion(s) took place.
Blood Assurance Program Details

The blood donation coupons expire six months from the date of donation.

The amount of reimbursement is strictly limited to blood fees which are not covered by insurance or another third party payer (not administration, testin or cross matching charges).

The reimbursement value of each blood donation coupon is $10.00 for patients in our service area and MD Anderson.

The limit of reimbursement is $5,000 per patient per calendar year.

The patient (or patient’s family) in our service area receiving the coupon is responsible for presenting a claim to the Center for reimbursement of blood fees, along with the blood donation coupon(s) and the required documentation of charges.
Blood Donation Coupons are given to individual or group blood donors and can be donated to others to help cover blood costs not paid for by insurance (one coupon per donation).
